Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Celebration

Plans are underway to observe the twenty-fifth anniversary of

Walter Grady as minister of music for First Baptist Church on Sunday, Feb. 12. This is quite an accomplishment and worthy of recognition. Special guests have been invited to attend the evening service and some will participate in the program. An all-church fellowship will be held that evening to honor Walter and Kathy for their faithful service. Church members are encouraged to give cards, notes and love gifts. Envelopes for a Love Offering and sheets for Appreciation Notes are available in Sunday School Departments and the Church Office. These will be presented during the fellowship. Please plan to participate and attend this event.

One of our nation’s most dynamic Men’s Conferences is coming to our church.  Men need to be affirmed and encouraged in every aspect of their manhood. Plan now to attend this Friday evening—Saturday morning conference! 

If you can only attend one session, the cost is $20. If you have more than one son between 12—17 years, the cost is only $15 for the first son and the others attend at no cost.  Adult pre-registration cost is $35 by Monday, Feb. 13.  Registration after Monday, Feb. 13, is $40.  You can either register at the church or go on line at www.MightyMenOfGod.com. Registration continues today in the Welcome Center after the 8:30 a.m. service and before the 11 a.m. service.
