SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
Available to any high school graduate, who is a member of First Missionary Baptist Church, Ardmore, Okla., who is attending any college, university, or vo-tech school in pursuit of an undergraduate degree. Secondary consideration is given members of other Southern Baptist churches affiliated with the Enon Baptist Association in Southern Oklahoma.
Available to any member of First Missionary Baptist Church, Ardmore, Okla., who is attending a college, university, or seminary affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention in pursuit of an undergraduate degree.
* These scholarships will be considered for undergraduate studies to obtain a single degree. They will be awarded for no more than 10 semesters or sessions within seven years of high school graduation.
Available to any member of First Missionary Baptist Church, Ardmore, Okla., who is attending any college, university, or seminary affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention to prepare for a church related vocation. Secondary consideration is given other current or former residents of Oklahoma, followed by other qualified applicants.
** These scholarships generally will be considered for only graduate or postgraduate level studies to obtain a single degree at each level. As a general rule, graduate level studies will be awarded for no more than 4 semesters or sessions within 3 years from the date of acceptance. Postgraduate level studies will be considered on a case by case basis.
General Information
1. Scholarship applications and renewals are due by the following dates: July 15 for the fall semester, December 15 for the spring semester, and May 1 for the summer session. Mail or bring applications and renewals to the Scholarship Committee, First Missionary Baptist Church, 225 First Avenue SW, Ardmore OK 73401. FAX OR E-MAIL COPIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
2. To qualify for a full scholarship, undergraduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours in a regular semester or 6 credit hours in a summer term. The requirement for graduate students is 9 credit hours in a regular semester or 4 in a summer term. Scholarship amounts are prorated for students enrolled in fewer credit hours. Scholarships are not awarded for any other types of semesters, terms, or intercessions.
